Uruguay summer 2010

I am going on a missions internship to Uruguay this summer for 2 months. (summer of 2010)
I will be staying with a missionary named Belinda Spilman. Belinda does children’s ministry throughout Uruguay and trains Christian women in the ministry. I will be teaching Bible lessons, helping with evangelism, organizing material, and doing all that I can do to assist Belinda and learn from her.

Returning to Calvary 2010

After graduating from missionary language school, I returned to Calvary Bible College in January 2010. I am scheduled to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Inter-Cultural Studies in May 2011.

Summer 2009 Gospel Ministries to Children

The summer in between my semesters at language school, I was able to work as a summer missionary with a ministry called "Gospel Ministries to Children". All summer we traveled to various cities in Texas, Mexico, and Georgia teaching week-long Bible Clubs and Vacation Bible schools in places where the churches would do follow up work. I had some great opprotunities to translate! And God taught me more about the self-sacrifice involved in making peace with teammates.

"Agua Puerca" Spring 2009 missions trip to Mexico

During Spring Break at language school I had the opprotunity to travel into the mountains in Mexico. In San Luis Portosi we worked with missionaries who minister to indiginous people in the mountains. God showed me how little we truly need. I realized that in America we hold onto too many worldly posessions. God taught showed me that the Gospel is simple. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. We need to ask forgiveness for our sins and trust in Him for salvation.

Missionary Language School 2009

After two and a half years at Calvary Bible College, God called me to Missionary Language school at Rio Grande Bible Institute in Texas to learn Spanish. By the grace of God I was able to persevere and graduate from the one year course in December 2009.

Summer 2008 Crescent Lake Bible Camp

In the summer of 2008 God provided so that I could serve another summer at Crescent Lake Bible Camp in Wisconsin. That summer God taught me more about His power and how He works through lives all over the world.

Summer 2007 Crescent Lake Bible Camp

The summer of 2007 God opened the door for me to be a camp counselor in Northern Wisconsin at a camp called Crescent Lake Bible Camp. There, I learned more about the power of prayer and how to share my faith. This was my first opprotunity to lead a child to Christ.
